1/18 Vendetta SC Class:
The truck must be box stock in appearance except you can custom paint a body.
1.Suspension
You must use the stock Vendetta shocks and springs. No option springs will be allowed. If you wish you can superglue the shock bottoms to prevent leaks.
2.Transmitter/Reciever
You can use either the stock Tactic 2.4 radio or your own personal radio and reciever.
3.Motor and electronics
The stock motor, esc, and servo must be used.
4.Wheels and tires
Must remain stock.
5.Gearing
Stock 45t spur must be used. Drivers have a choice between 2 pinions the stock 12t or a 11t.
6.Battery
Must be a Duratrax 1600 Lipo(part# DTXC1855 or DTXC1856) 1600 NIMH packs are okay but must be limited to 1600mah.
7.Option Parts
These are the only option parts allowed on the Vendetta SC, these parts are only being allowed to upgrade the durability of the truck not for performance purposes:
-Ball Diffs front and rear. part# DTXC7348
-CVD's front and rear part#DTXC7294
-Turnbuckles part#DTXC9814
-Servo brace part#DTXC8813

New Indy R/C Gran Turismo Rules: 
Chassis Rules:
Chassis will be a complete stock slash with all of the current stock slash rules in place. All parts must be stock with allowance of rpm after market parts if desired as long as they are the same as stock parts.

SHOCKS MUST BE LIMITED!!
Limitting of the shocks is a MANDATORY RULE and will be checked spontaniously.

Front shocks can only have a MAXIMUM travel length from center of top bolt to center of bottom bolt of 2.75 inches

Rear shocks can only have a MAXIMUM travel length from center of top bolt to center of bottom bolt of 3.25 inches

(if you are running the JamAir Shock Stops the first and second hole are all that are allowed for setting)

This rule is in place to protect the integrity of the class and to put the "truck" into a more suited "on road" form. This is not a grey area nor is it negotiable.


BATTERY RULES:
Any ROAR approved Lipo is allowed up to a MAX of a 50c Rating.


BODY RULES:
Body must be the Protoform 1/8th scale PF8-GT.

Body must be cut to all of the cut lines in the form....This includes the wing!

APPEARANCE RULES:
Body must have headlight, grills, and tail light decals on that were supplied with it.

There must be a white number panel on each side no smaller than 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches with black numbers. (Indy Slots will have these in stock and each entrant will receive 2 free of charge if you decide not to paint them on.)

A Indy R/C Gran Turismo windshield decal must be in place. (Indy Slots will have these in stock and each entrant will receive one free of charge.)

These rules have been set into place to keep the appearance of an actual Japanese Gran Turismo class. Please respect all of the rules and lets have some fun racing!!!!

1/10 2WD Stock Slash Class:

1.) Truck must be a 2WD Traxxas Slash
2.) Battery - Any 2 cell Lipo or 6-7 cell NiMH allowed
3.) Motor - Must be Traxxas Titan 12T 550 motor
4.) Electronics - Must be Traxxas XL-5 ESC and #2075 Servo, but can be any radio/reciever combo.
5.) Shocks - Must be stock Traxxas Slash shocks and springs (You may use any weight shock oil and aluminium caps).
6.) Gearing - Any 48 pitch spur and pinion combination.
7.) Body - Any short course body that covers all 4 wheels when looking down on the truck.
8.) Must use only Traxxas Slash parts except the following: RPM front and rear shock towers, A-arms, and hub carriers (Integy hubs are also allowed).
9.) Tires - Must be box stock Slash tires and wheels.  No modifying of stock tires is permitted, ex: No siping or shaving.  S1 compound tires are not allowed.
10.) Anything not listed above is not legal in this class.

1/10 Short Course Truck Class:

1.) Any readily available 2WD short course truck is allowed
2.) Battery - Any 2 cell Lipo or 6-7 cell NiMh
3.) Motor - Any brand 1/10th scale Brushed or Brushless motor
4.) Electronics must be 1/10 scale
5.) Body - Any short course body that covers all 4 wheels when looking down on the truck.
6.) Tires - Must be a 1/10th short course tire. You may use any tire that comes with a stock kit or you may choose one of these five: Jconcepts Goosebumps, Proline Bowties or Calibers, Hot Boddies Mega Grids or AKA Enduros.

1/10th Expert Open 4x4 Short Course Truck Class:

1.) The same rules as in the 1/10 Short Course Trucks will apply except all trucks must be a 4x4 WD version.
2.) No 1/8 scale parts, tires, motors, ESC are permitted.

1/10th 2WD Buggy Class:

1.) Manufacturer - Any 2WD 1/10 Buggy
2.) Motor - Open (must be 1/10th scale)
3.) Electronics - Open (must be 1/10th scale)
4.) Body - Any buggy body (wing must be mounted pre-race)
5.) Battery - Any 2 cell Lipo or 6-7 cell NiMh
6.) Tires - Any manufacturer 1/10 scale buggy tire and wheel combo )must run front on front and rear on rear)

1/10 Stadium Truck Class:

1.) Same rules as in the 1/10 scale buggy class will apply to the 1/10 Scale Stadium Truck class less the wing and tire rules.
2.) Tires - Any 2.2 size stadium truck tire (Foam or Rubber) with any tread pattern.



1/18th Indy Mini Sprints:
 
Must be 1/18th Losi Mini Sprint and ran completely stock with the exception of the following:

1.) You may run any 1/18th scale after market schocks
2.) You may run any 6 cell NIMH or a Duratrax 1600 mah 2 cell 20c lipo (available at Indy Slots)
3.) Top wing is not permitted, front wing is optional
4.) Hood must be mounted at all times.  Driver and tail section must be mounted pre-race
5.) Staggered tire is optional but you can only run one and it must be mounted in the stock position
6.) Mudd covers are optional
7.) You may use the radio and receiver combo of your choice but the receiver must be mounted in stock position
8.) Must run the battery in stock position
9.) Must run stock spur gear, pinions are limited to 16t, 17t and 18t
10.) There is to be no weight added to the car
11.) Ride height minimum is 1/4 in.
12.) Stock Losi brushes only
13.) There is to be no modification to any part of the car or chassis and only stock Losi parts are to be used with the exception of the above mentioned
14.) Any of the top three cars on any night can have their motor claimed for the cost of what Indy Slots has the motor for on that day
15.) If it has not been mentioned in these rules, then it is not legal
16.) The race director has the final say on all rules and racing matters

These rules are in place to protect a stock class that has been designed to allow the new racer or any racer for that matter to take the car out of the box and with a few setup changes will be competitive. 


1/10th Slider Class: 

Must be a 1/10th Losi Slider
1.) Must run the battery in stock position
2.) Tires must be Losi slider rubber tires, must use stock inserts
3.) Top wing is not permitted, front wing is optional
4.) Any 13.5 brushless motor is permitted. You have a choice of these ESC's Novak GTB (1710, 1711), Havoc (1733, 1735, 1732), or XBR (1720)
5.) The Battery must be a Orion 2400 Rocket Pack (25c)

6.)Ride height must be 1/2 in. or higher

7.)Team Associated Caster blocks are legal.

Mini Cooper Class:

Any Tamiya M03, M05 or M04 chassis car that uses the 60D size tire or smaller.
Tamiya Hop-Ups only.
No chassis lightening allowed.
Current TAMIYA Mini bodies available for the M03 and M05 are legal. M04 cars must use M04 bodies that use 60D tires
Tamiya 60D tires and wheels only (50683, 50684, 53254 and 53340).
Stuffing tires with inserts to create a "ballooned" tire, and producing overdrive is not legal. Tire diameter limit will be limited to 60mm.
The Tamiya 540-J motor (53689) is the motor that must be used for the 2010 season
It is legal to use the maximum pinion gear size on all front-drive and rear drive Mini cars. I.E. 20-tooth on the M03/M05 and 21-tooth on the M04.
Any Tamiya plastic or aluminum hop-up damper may be used
Any Tamiya short or regular size hop-up spring may be used.
The use of LIPO batteries is permitted in this class, but due to the battery compartment having a rounded profile, the only legal LIPOs for this class must have a rounded hard case. I.E. Orion/Peak 2400, 3200, and 3400 Carbon Edition hard cased batteries, Reedy 2400 and 3400 stick LIPOs. Modifying the M-chassis to fit other hard case LIPO batteries is not permitted. Note: New batteries released in the future that have a rounded hard case and have larger capacities will be permitted. There is no mAH or C rating limit. All Lipos must be 7.4 Volt 2S-1P configurations.
Drilling extra vent holes to the wheels is illegal.
All M-chassis cars must meet a minimum weight of 1250 grams.
Motor RPM Limits will be imposed to match out of the box performance. RPM numbers TBD.
It is forbidden to crank the timing on the 540-J motor physically or through the use of rare earth magnets.

VTA (Vintage Trans Am):

Rules updated 01.01.10. All rules subject to change and expansion should need arise.

Body provided deck lid spoilers allowed (not wings). No additional skirts or raised/extended wings or

air control surfaces allowed. Body must be trimmed at body trim lines. Full rear bumper required. It is

highly preferred that bodies are detailed in race type livery in period-correct paint schemes. Fluorescent

colors, wild graphics, chromes and non-period correct paint schemes are frowned upon. All cars must

have a number on the hood, both doors and trunk lid. Wheel covers of any type are NOT allowed.

All cars must include a driver figure consisting of at least a head and shoulders.

Tire & Wheel Specifications:

The only tires allowed are HPI tire part #4793 front and #4797 rear, using stock tire inserts provided

with tire and any HPI Vintage wheels designed to fit these tires. All other tires and/or part numbers are

illegal. Five or Eight spoke wheels available in various colors. 0mm offset front wheels and 6mm offset

rear wheels are intended for 26mm width fronts and 31mm width rear tires. 8-spoke Vintage wheels

from #3805 through #3814, 5-spoke Vintage wheels from #3815 through #3822 and Vintage stock car

wheels from #3854 through #3860, Vintage Wheel CC Type #33472 and #33473, Vintage Wheel DTP

Type #33474 and #33475 are all legal wheels.

Grinding of tire tread is NOT permitted. Sanding of mold seam to remove seam is allowed. HPI

Vintage Slicks and HPI Vintage Performance Tires are not allowed. Tire traction compounds are at the

discretion of the track. No other altering, changing or softening of the tire is allowed. No "double

stuffing" of foam inserts allowed—only single stock vintage tire inserts are allowed.

Chassis Specification:

Four Wheel Drive touring car chassis only. Any era or brand 4wd chassis is allowed.

Motor Specifications:

25.5 brushless with 2C LiPo: Novak SS25.5 Pro brushless motor (pn:TBA) or Ballistic 25.5(pn:6625) ONLY combined with any ROAR-approved hard-cased 2C 7.4v LiPo pack up to and

including 5000 mAh capacity. Novak motors are the ONLY motor allowed at this time. All house

track rules regarding LiPo usage apply. Only physical motor timing advance is allowed. 12.3 mm

rotor diameter only (no "tuning" rotors are allowed, only stock Novak rotors allowed).

Race Specification:

- 5 minute qualifiers

- 8 minute mains

- Absolutely NO IFMAR-type starts. All heats and mains should be straight-up starts, with random

sorts for each heat. Non random sorts should shuffle starting order for each heat.

Optional Main Variations:

- 12-20 car A-mains, depending on car counts.

- Invert qualifying order based on random hat pull (top 6-10 cars).

- "LeMans" type starts where all cars are lined up on an angle to the racing line in order.

- Run track in reverse rotation for mains.

- Rolling starts

MOST IMPORTANTLY: If it's not in the rules, and does not encompass the spirit of slower,controlled racing with realistic looking cars, consider it illegal. This is called the "Spirit of VTA"

Rule. The class is based on slower, equal playing field competition with less traction, minimal

aerodynamic aids and mostly older carpet racing technology. The final objective is close, fair,

wheel-to-wheel racing for all. All decisions of the race promoter or track owner are final.



United States RC Bombers (USRCB) / Bomber Class Rules & Specifications:

Chassis Specifications:
Any 1/10 four wheel drive touring car with a minimum ride height of 5mm and minimum weight of 1500g.

Body Specifications:
Pre 1964 American hot rod car bodies only (no trucks, jeeps, etc, just cars).

Bodies must be painted in period correct style’s and schemes with numbers on both drivers and passenger
side doors while roof numbers are optional. Any colors are allowed but please keep in the theme of the pre
1960’s stock car racing and local race tracks. No wings, wheel covers or other body alterations are allowed.
All bodies must be trimmed to stock body lines provided by manufacturer. Wheel wells may be cut to fit
chassis to prevent tire rub.

No motor altering of any kind is allowed other than basic break in and cleaning.
*Clobbering rule: If you keep clobbering with a noticeable speed difference we’ll have you randomly swap a motor with another racer or
Purchase one for you to turn back in at the end of the night! The Prez will always have a spare!

Gearing Specifications:
Final FDR minimum is 6.00

Electronic Speed Controller Specifications:
Any non programmable speed controller under $65.00 MSRP. As long as it was available or is still available at a hobby store or online for under $65.00 MSRP it’s legal.

No reverse allowed. Either turn it off or don’t use it. *If it's used be smart about it. Don't back in to anyone if your in no mans land and a marshall can't get to you.

ESC must not be able to hook up to computer or be programmed to advance timing, add boost, etc. Any break setting is allowed.

*Basically all your allowed to do or be able to set on the esc is neutral, forward and breaking. Outside of that, any exc will be deemed illegal if there are any settings to help boost throttle response, advance timing or adds speed or boost.

Participants at Indy Slots  are also strongly encouraged to use their own AMB compatable transponders and must Marshall races after racing in their heats.

Driver's are responsible for their actions at all times as well as those in their party. Common sence will apply at all times and the Race Director will have ultimate responsibility in determining what is fair and legal in all classes. The goal is to keep the racing at Indy Slots as competitive and fun as possible. We look forward to your participation and ask for your support in achieving our goals.
